The client wanted to enclose the little-used sun porch on the back of his home. Unable to use this space in the winter because of the cold climate and hammered by sun in the summer, we created a breakfast space that harvests the warmth of the sun for the cold winter months and shades it from the interior in the summer. The breakfast room and redesigned kitchen were given warmth and richness with oak millwork and blue and brass accents.
